AS-IS, for the IKEA-Loving Bargain Hunters

In case you are not aware of this yet, there is an AS-IS section in every IKEA store. It is usually at the end of the warehouse just prior to the cashiers (In IKEA Kuwait, it is at the right before the cashiers).

Returned, damaged and formerly showcased products which are not in new condition or taken out of the IKEA product range are displayed here, and sold with a significant discount, but also with a "no-returns" policy.

We bought this display item Tylosand 2-seat sofa there for 50% discount. Bolstered by this success, we now make it a point to visit IKEA AS-IS every time we go to The Avenues. Who knows, we might get lucky again.
